As a recreational diver, have you ever wanted to have that little bit more confidence in your abilities to recognise and treat diving illnesses and injuries?
The DAN Recreational Diver Medical Technician course run by DAN Europe will teach you to be prepared, confident, and armed with the knowledge to take control and deal with virtually any diving based medical emergency. The course consists of theory and practical sessions covering a vast array of subject areas. (This course is not designed for commercial divers)
The DAN Recreational Diver Medical Technician Course is designed for any divers who are involved in sports diving, Scientific, Military, Police, Fire and Public Safety Diving and divers working remotely. Scuba diving is different from the commercial divers working in highly dangerous situations, however the accident and mortality rate amongst recreational divers is higher and their level of medical training lower. As a result, the course is just as valuable to recreational divers. The DAN Recreational Diver Medic course will not teach you how to dive, it will teach you how to save lives’ and assist in treating diving related injuries. It will teach you how to work under pressure and when to make that all important, life-saving decision.
